Art sometimes can be described as food for the mind or food for the soul.
On Sept. 22, it also can provide food for the tummy.
The Fort Wayne Museum of Art's annual Trolley Tour will transport you to 13 local art galleries to admire the art and sample food from a different local eatery at each location.
The event, which is co-sponsored by Fort Wayne Newspapers, will be 5:30-10 p.m. With a Trolley Tour passport, you can hop on the tour at any participating gallery and travel around to all other stops.
The passport also gives you admission to a Pre-Tour Party at 4:30 p.m. at Orchard Gallery of Fine Art, 6312 Covington Road, and an after party 10-11 p.m. at the Museum of Art, 311 E. Main St. The after party features live music by Sugar Shot.
Passports are available in advance at the Museum of Art store and at Orchard Gallery. Cost is $20 for art museum members and $25 for the general public. The Trolley Tour is intended for art fans ages 18 and older.
