Fort Wayne airport adds nonstop service to Fort Myers

Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority will add additional non-stop flights to Florida with Allegiant.

The new service to Punta Gorda Airport, located just 30 minutes from Fort Myers, Fla. will operate two flights per week beginning June 28. Allegiant will launch the new service with special introductory prices for those who book by April 30, according to a news release.

“This is great news for FWA and the residents of our region,” said FWACAA Executive Director Scott Hinderman in the release. “Allegiant has been a great partner in providing service to Florida’s most popular vacation destinations from FWA and we anticipate this new route to be well received by the Fort Wayne community.”

Allegiant also offers non-stop flights from FWA to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Orlando and Tampa Bay, Florida. For more information on flights and pricing, visit the Allegiant website at or call 702-505-8888.
