ANTHONY WAYNE FIRST CHURCH OF GOD, 6012 South Bend Drive, will present the Northmen in concert at 6 p.m. June 9.

CALVARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 6301 Winchester Road, will present “Triumphant-A Gospel Music Celebration” at 9:30 a.m. June 3. Afterward, the New Builders steak dinner is at 11 a.m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for ages 10 and under. Reservations: 747-9218.

EPWORTH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 105 W. 8th St., Matthews, will have the Stephen Hill perform in concert at 7 p.m. June 22; admission is free.

FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH, 6600 Trier Road, is accepting registrations through June 3 for vacation Bible school 8:45-11:30 a.m. June 11-15 for ages 4-grade 5.

GOOD SHEPHERD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 4700 Vance Ave., will hold a Taize worship service at 5 p.m. Sunday; enter Door 6; the service is in Room 141.

LIFETREE CAFÉ, New Ground Coffee Co., 5925 N. Clinton St. in Washington Square, will explore breaking the cycle of sex abuse 7-8 p.m. today.

LIFETREE CAFÉ, Brew Ha! espresso café, 122 S. Jefferson St., Ossian, will feature an atheist professor considering intelligent design 6-7 p.m. Sunday.

NEW HAVEN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 630 Lincoln Highway E., New Haven, will host GriefShare, a 13-week class for people grieving the loss of a loved one. The classes will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, through July 24. Each session is self-contained so you do not have to attend in sequence. ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1126 Barr St., will observe the Festival of Pentecost during the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday. A homecoming recital takes place at 4 p.m. Sunday.
