Discussions/speakers

Fort Wayne Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, 5310 Old Mill Road, is having its next philosophy and spirituality discussion group at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The group will also meet at 7 p.m. June 19. The Jesus Seminar Study Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Lifetree Café will show a filmed interview with Chai Ling, the leader of the 1989 student protest in Tiananmen Square, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at New Ground Coffee Company, 5925 N. Clinton St.

Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 W. Berry St., is hosting Andrew Spath at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Spath, with the department of political science and Middle East studies at Rutgers University, will speak on “Syrian Uprising and Insurrection: Where Things Stand and Possible Futures.”

First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne St., will have organist Geoffrey North as part of its Wednesdays On Wayne Street event on Wednesday. The concert starts at 12:15 p.m.

Concordia Theological Seminary, 6600 N. Clinton St., is having a level 1 workshop for organists from June 25 to 29. Registration is due June 11 and can be made at www.ctsfw.edu/OrganistWorkshop or by calling 452-2224.

Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 W. Berry St., is having an Eleganza Germanfest Concert at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Anthony Wayne First Church of God, 6012 S. Bend Drive, is hosting a Christian music concert with The Northman and Cathy at 6 p.m. June 9.

ship, 112 W. Main St., North Manchester, is working on Project 500, which hopes to get 500 Wabash County people to sponsor children from Ghana, Africa, where the pastor’s daughter is doing missionary work. Sponsors help provide items such as colored pencils, paper and paints.

St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive, is having a parish festival from 5 p.m. to midnight Friday.

Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School, 6318 W. California Road, is having a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) camp from 8 a.m. to noon July 9 to 13. Registration deadline is June 15. Register for the camp, which is for students in third to eighth grades, at www.

Vacation Bible School
