BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2435 Engle Road, will have a block party with free food and games 4-8 p.m. Aug. 5.

EPWORTH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 105 W. 8th St., Matthews, will have Stephen Hill perform in concert at 7 p.m. Friday; admission is free.

FOREST PARK UNITED METHODIST CHURCH and CRESCENT AVENUE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will hold a cooperative vacation Bible school, for ages 4-Grade 5, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday-June 28 at 2100 Kentucky Ave. Two adult classes will offer babysitting for ages 3 and under.

NEW HAVEN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 630 Lincoln Highway E., New Haven, will host GriefShare, a 13-week class for people grieving the loss of a loved one. The classes will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, through July 24. Each session is self-contained so you do not have to attend in sequence. ST. ALBAN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH will celebrate the Feast of St. Alban with a eucharist service at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at Leo-Cedarville Park, with a potluck picnic lunch afterward. The 8 a.m. Sunday worship service will be held at the church, 7308 St. Joe Road.
