FORT WAYNE – The University Police at IPFW issued an emergency alert Thursday morning after a driver near the campus was injured, possibly with a BB gun.
It said the vehicle was going west on Coliseum Boulevard at Crescent Avenue shortly after 8 a.m. this morning when heard the sound of metal on metal, and then discovered he had been wounded in the ear.
He reported he was possibly struck by a BB gun, the alert said.
It said the victim refused medical treatment and left the scene.
Anyone on campus who sees any suspicious activity was urged to call the university police at 481-6911.
