Two on motorcycle hospitalized after crash involving pickup truck

Two people riding on a motorcycle were injured, one critically, after a crash involving a pickup truck.

The incident was reported around 10:58 a.m. to the Fort Wayne Police Department, according to a news release. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Hillegas Road and Goshen Road to investigate a report of a personal injury accident.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the crash involved a motorcycle and pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was not hurt, but the driver of the motorcycle, a man, was transported to a hospital in serious condition, while the passenger on the motorcycle, a woman, was transported in critical condition.

The identities of the two people are being withheld, pending family notification, the release said.

The incident remains under investigation.
