Indiana counties included in the watch are Adams, Allen, Blackford, Cass, DeKalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White and Whitley.
Ohio counties included in the watch are Allen, Defiance, Fulton, Paulding, Williams and Van Wert.
Very hot temperatures of 100 degrees to 105 degrees combined with low relative humidity of 20 percent to 25 percent and gusty west winds will lead to an increased fire danger risk on Thursday.
West winds of 15 mph to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph are expected mid-morning through early evening Thursday. No lightning is expected.
