FWCS postpones test scores announcement

Fort Wayne Community Schools had planned a press conference Thursday morning to announce district ISTEP standardized test scores, but because of a delay at the state level the announcement has been canceled.

The state Department of Education will release scores July 10, according to a release from the district. The district will release more information about its scores at that time.

During a board meeting Monday, Superintendent Wendy Robinson indicated the district will see increases in many of its minority sub-groups for both elementary and middle school students and increases in scores of low-income students.
