Fire damages upstairs bedroom

A fire left moderate damage to an upstairs bedroom of a northwest-side house Saturday night, Fort Wayne firefighters said.

Firefighters were called to 1219 Huffman St. about 10:30 p.m.

Crews found a small fire in the bedroom and had it under control in 11 minutes, firefighters said. No one was home when the fire started.

No firefighters were injured. The fire is under investigation.
