Health briefs: Women's health day offered Thursday

Women’s health day

Christian Community Health Care will sponsor a Women's Health Day this Thursday at 13410 Main St., Grabill. Francine's Friends will accept both prescheduled and walk-in patients 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Breast Diagnostic Center will bill patient's insurance for the cost of the screening or a reduced rate is offered if payment is made the day of the appointment.

In addition, health services will be available from 9 a.m.-noon. Cancer screening and prevention will be provided by the Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center, bone density screening from the Parkview Women's Heath Center, pregnancy testing consultations and blood pressure screening. The screenings are free.
