The Embassy Theatre canceled the Rock 'n' Roll Medicine Show concert scheduled there this Friday night, but organizer Caleb Storey has moved the show to the University of Saint Francis Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry St.
The concert will start at 7 p.m Friday; doors will open 6:15 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 at the door.
People who bought tickets earlier received an automatic refund from Ticketmaster, so they must buy new tickets at the door.
Organizers plan to give a portion of concert proceeds to Lutheran Children's Hospital in Fort Wayne.
A benefit fundraiser for Delaney Bruce will be held from 2 to 11 p.m. Sunday at Hammerhead Music Hall, 6809 Hanna St.
Several bands are expected to play, said Patty Hunter, who will film the event for airing on her “Patty's Page” television show on local public-access channel Access Fort Wayne One, Comcast Cable Channel 55 and Frontier Channel 25.
Bruce worked for years at the Leonard Peltier Defense Offense Committee national office until becoming ill with ovarian cancer. She was a phone-in guest on Hunter's public access TV show several times when it focused on Peltier, a Native American imprisoned for allegedly shooting two FBI agents in 1977.
The local theater group all for One productions will hold these auditions:
•“A Peculiar People,” by Rick Najera, 7 p.m. Aug. 7, First Missionary Church, 701 W. Rudisill Blvd.
•“An O. Henry Christmas,” by Howard Burman, 7 p.m. Aug. 14, First Missionary Church,701 W. Rudisill Blvd.

A large number of ceramics, paintings, posters and artist prints by area artists and others will be sold Aug. 8 to benefit Artlink art gallery. The sale of art from the collection of Carol and the late Dick Ver Wiebe will take place from noon to 7 p.m. at the Hall Community Arts Center, 437 E. Berry St. All proceeds from the sale will go to Artlink. Staff from the new Arts United centralized box office will be on site to handle sales transactions.
The 11th annual Whitley County Juried Autumn Art Festival will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 8 on the courthouse square in downtown Columbia City. Categories for artwork are woodworking, pottery, painting, fiber art, drawing, pastels, metal work, jewelry, photography, glass and more.
