Allen County Republican headquarters is home to the Victory Center, a recently opened call center to jumpstart the Republican vote in the upcoming election.
Indiana gubernaturorial candidate U.S. Rep. Mike Pence, along with U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman and Senate candidate State Treasurer Richard Mourdock joined together Saturday to cut the ribbon to the call center at 135 W. Main St.
The Victory Center name is an effort to electrify Republican supporters into getting out and obtaining their victory by voting.
“Today is all about cutting the ribbon on a beginning of an effort that we hope will generate more than 1.2 million completed phone calls all across the state of Indiana and all 92 counties,” Pence said. “Here in Allen County today, we're opening up what will be one of nine 'Victory Centers'” in the state.
The Republican stance is moving toward the empowerment of conservatives in every generation in Indiana, and across the United States, participants said.
Stutzman called for local Republicans to come together and volunteer to better serve the country.
“We're going to continue to be the greatest country in the world,” said Stutzman, who represents northeast Indiana. “This is our moment, right now.”
