The Warren, Mich.-based distribution company in May warned officials of plans to cut 175 workers from the plant at 1600 Gressel Drive after losing a major customer.
Based on the two lists of affected job titles, the job cuts appear to be separate, with no workers being counted twice. If true, that would mean 328 total jobs are being lost.
The second round of permanent layoffs are scheduled to begin Sept. 15 and could continue for two weeks. The first round was set to begin July 15.
Workers at the plant aren’t unionized and don’t have transfer, bumping or reassignment rights, a Lipari official said in the filing, which is dated July 12.
Delphos, which straddles Ohio’s Van Wert and Allen counties, has about 6,750 residents.
Founded in 1963, Lipari distributes national food brands including Hellman’s, Nestle, Sara Lee, Tyson, Stouffer’s and Marzetti. Lipari Foods was previously known as I&K Distributors.
