College

•Manchester University will hold an open house for its new College of Pharmacy 4-7 p.m. July 25 at the corner of East Dupont and Diebold roads. For more information about Manchester University's College of Pharmacy, visit www.manchester.edu/pharmacy or call 470-2700.

•Indiana Tech announced the university's recently completed Momentum fundraising campaign raised $29 million, or 53 percent more than the original goal. Momentum was publicly announced in September 2008 with a goal of raising $19 million by June 2012 to support academic initiatives, scholarships and campus improvements. That goal was exceeded in the first three years of the campaign, and a new goal of $25 million was announced in September 2010.

•These local students were named National Merit Scholarship winners: Emily S. Cage of Concordia Lutheran High School; Joseph D. Janizek, a home-schooled student; Austin P. Lewellen of South Side High School; and Melissa G. Marts of Carroll High School.
