Severe thunderstorms with hail possible headed toward south central Allen, northeastern Wells and northern Adams countries have weakened but the areas will likely see heavy rain through 3 p.m. Wednesday. Scanner traffic included a police officer reporting hail and an inability to see on the road before 1:30 p.m. A driver on Coldwater Road near Wallen Road contacted a reporter and said rain was so thick she had to pull off the road. She also reported to tree were down in the Dupont Lakes apartment complex.

The National Weather Service said the storm headed toward Hessen Cassel and Poe was no longer a life-threatening.
