A Fort Wayne plastics and rubber molding company plans to add 15 jobs and make about $543,000 in upgrades to its plant.
Calico Precision Molding, 1211 Progress Road, is asking Fort Wayne City Council to grant a package of property tax incentives for the project, which would add manufacturing, research, and other equipment, according to filings with the city.
The 15 new jobs would include production and administrative roles and pay an average salary of $25,187.
Calico would be eligible for having new property taxes phased in over 10 years, according to the filings. Council could consider the tax incentives as early as Tuesday.
Allen County Commissioner Nelson Peters co-owns Calico with a 10 percent share of the company, according to the filings.
