'Trek the Trails' ride to feature bike giveaway

Coca-Cola will give away a custom bicycle Tuesday as part of the city's weekly 'Trek the Trails' bike ride.

The soft drink company is sponsoring this week's ride from Foster Park to Tillman Park and back by providing refreshments and a raffle for the 26-inch dual-suspension Coke bicycle, according to the city. Raffle tickets will be handed out at before the ride and a winner drawn afterward.

Cyclists will meet at the Foster Park trail head parking lot at 3900 Old Mill Road, near the end of the main park drive. Participants should arrive at 5:30 p.m.; the ride starts at 6 p.m.

Cyclists must wear helmets. In the case of severe weather, a cancellation notice will be posted at FortWayneParks.org.
