Grains futures fall, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 26.25 cents to $8.8825 a bushel; December corn fell 8.75 cents to $8.0525 a bushel; December oats slipped 5 cents to $3.8275 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 2.50 cents to $16.41 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 1.42 cent to $1.2440 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.37 cent to $1.3862 a pound; while October lean hogs fell 1.67 cent to 80.30 cents a pound.
