Lecture and book-signing
Author William Heath will speak about his latest book, “Blacksnake's Path: The True Adventures of William Wells,” at 2 p.m. Sunday at The History Center, 302 E. Berry St. Admission is free. Heath researched the years 1779-1812 when Wells was captured at age 13 by Miami Indians in 1784. Wells died during the Fort Dearborn Massacre in 1812. |
