Jeremiah J. Thompson is accused of selling heroin to a police informant three times in just over a month.

Those transactions led police to nearly 20 marijuana plants, candy laced with LSD and a stolen gun in his home in the 2900 block of Smith Street during a raid Monday, according to a police report and court documents.

Thompson, 29, is charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of dealing in a controlled substance.

After the alleged heroin deals, police raided Thompson’s home and found a marijuana growing operation in his basement that consisted of two marijuana plants. Police also found eight marijuana plants in the backyard, court papers said. Additional marijuana plant starts were also found.

Thompson also told police that the 12 pieces of mint candy they found were laced with LSD.

Thompson is being held at the Allen County Jail in lieu of $108,250 bail.
