A shoplifting arrest by police in Warsaw early Monday led to methamphetamine and a meth lab at a rural Kosciusko County home.
Michael C. Crum, 30, of Silver Lake, was picked up at a Warsaw business and taken to the county jail on a theft charge. Police then searched his vehicle and found items commonly used to make meth.
Police also received information that there were possibly more meth-related items at his home, the statement said. Kosciusko County and Warsaw officers searched a home at 12600 block of South County Road 200 West and found a one-pot meth lab and several items used to make methamphetamine.
Additional charges of dealing methamphetamine were filed against Crum, the police said.
Crum is being held without bail at the Kosciusko County Jail.
