After four seasons, Abby Elliott is not returning to “Saturday Night Live.”

Her exit was first reported Wednesday by the comedy website Splitsider. NBC declined to comment, but a source familiar with casting changes at the show confirmed Elliott’s departure.

Though not as central of a cast member, Elliott adds to the high-profile departures of Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg.

Jimmy Kimmel didn’t have to look too far for his fiancée.

The ABC funnyman, 44, is newly engaged to girlfriend Molly McNearney, 34. His spokesman, Lewis Kay, said Wednesday that Kimmel popped the question during a recent vacation in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

McNearney is the co-head writer for the network’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” They started dating in 2009, after Kimmel’s breakup with comic Sarah Silverman.

The engagement was first reported by People magazine.

For one night, Aretha Franklin was the Queen of Gospel – not just Soul.

Franklin was inducted Tuesday into the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame along with country and bluegrass star Ricky Skaggs, singer-songwriter Dallas Holm, family group The Hoppers, the late televangelist Rex Humbard and Christian rockers Love Song.

Franklin couldn’t attend the induction at Trinity Music City in Hendersonville, Tenn., but sent a video message.
