Purdue found out the final pieces to its men's basketball schedule puzzle on Tuesday, as the games for the 2K Sports Classic were set.
The Boilermakers are coming off of a 22-13 season under eighth year coach Matt Painter and will host Bucknell and Hofstra on Nov. 9 and 11, respectively, in the West Lafayette Regional of the 2K Sports Classic benefitting Wounded Warrior Project.
The Boilermakers and Bison will square off at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9, while Purdue will tangle with the Pride at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11. Purdue has never faced either team on the hardwood.
In the tournament's other games, the Boilers will face Villanova at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Nov. 15 in the second semifinal at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Depending on the results of the semifinal games, Purdue will play either Alabama or Oregon State in either the championship or consolation game the following night.
