24 guns stolen; reward offered

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the theft Monday of 24 firearms from a northeast Indiana business.

On Tuesday, they announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for taking firearms from Angler Bait & Tackle, 7430 S. Indiana 327, southeast of Big Long Lake.

Anyone with information is asked to call the ATF crime gun hotline at 1-800-283-4867 or the county sheriff’s department at 260-668-1000. The ATF hotline is toll-free and callers may remain anonymous.
