The Fort Wayne Police Department and agents from Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating a possible explosion that destroyed a car in the 3900 block of Newport Avenue at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday at Coliseum Park Apartments, according to our media partner, WANE, NewsChannel 15.

Representatives of the police, ATFE and fire department were not available for questions Wednesday.
