A Fort Wayne man was being held in the Steuben County Jail on meth-related charges after being stopped in Angola early Thursday.

A car driven by Scotty L. Miller, 32, was stopped shortly after 2 a.m. on Water Street, and the Steuben County Sheriff's Department said a police dog "alerted" while sniffing around the Buick.

The sheriff's department said several drug-related items were found and that Miller was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of two or more precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine.

His bond was set at $130,000.
