Freeze warning

A freeze warning is in effect until 9 a.m. this morning for the Indiana counties of Adams, Allen, Blackford, Cass, DeKalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, LaPorte, LaGrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White and Whitley.

Cold Canadian high pressure will build into the region overnight resulting in clearing skies and light winds, conditions which will allow temperatures to drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s. This will lead to widespread frost and subfreezing temperatures across the area.

Sensitive vegetation could be damaged or killed if left unprotected. A freeze warning means subfreezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely.
