HOPE offers free vaccines to pet owners suffering financial hardship

HOPE for Animals will host a free vaccine outreach clinic noon-3:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Fort Wayne Urban League, 2135 Hanna St., for anyone living in 46803 and 46806 ZIP codes.

Thanks to the ASPCA's Safety Net program, HOPE will providie onsite vaccinations for Canine Rabies, Parvo and Distemper and offer participants vouchers for free follow up booster shots and feline vaccinations.

The Fort Wayne Pet Food Pantry will also distribute food during most of the event. The Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition will also be on-site.

Additionally thanks to The Ryan Newman Foundation's Pit StoPP program (Sterilization to Protect Pitbulls) HOPE will offeri spay/neuter vouchers for $5 to pit bull owners with financial constraints. For more information call 420-7729.
