The latest James Bond movie got its world premiere in London on Tuesday, with Prince Charles on hand to give it a royal seal of approval.
Daniel Craig was the first of the film’s stars to arrive at the screening at the Royal Albert Hall in central London, where he was joined by co-stars Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, and Naomie Harris.
Craig appeared to share a laugh with Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, ahead of the premiere.
“Skyfall” opens in Britain on Friday and in the U.S. on Nov. 9. Proceeds from Tuesday’s royal gala are going to charities that help members of Britain’s intelligence services.
Lindsay Lohan won’t face criminal charges after being accused of clipping a man with her car outside a nightclub, one of a string of troubles the actress has encountered behind the wheel and elsewhere in recent months.
Lohan had been due to make her first court appearance in the case Tuesday, but the Manhattan district attorney’s office said Monday there is now no court date scheduled at any point.
The Los Angeles city attorney’s office said Monday the Manhattan car episode wouldn’t affect Lohan’s probation.
