A Warsaw man was jailed early Friday, accused of forcing a woman to have sex last month.
Fred Christian, 53, has been charged with felony sexual battery, according to a written statement issued by the Warsaw Police Department.
It said a 51-year-old woman went to the man’s home on South Columbia Street to visit a friend, who was not there. Police said that Christian confronted her, touched her sexually, prevented her from leaving and eventually forced her to engage in intercourse.
Police said the man admitted his involvement.
Kosciusko County Prosecutors Office assisted in the investigation.
