The Allen County commissioners announced Monday that they have decided to postpone the scheduled ribbon-cutting celebration for the Maplecrest Road Extension until 2 p.m. Friday because of weather concerns.
The roadway will open to traffic as scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
High winds, rain and snow are all in the forecast for late Tuesday morning, when the celebration had been planned.
