Aunt Millie's bakery to donate more than 60,000 loaves of bread

Aunt Millie's has announced they will donate more than 60,000 loaves of Butter Top White Bread to food banks throughout the Midwest over the holiday season. The bread will be delivered fresh directly to the food banks.

The first donations will be delivered in Comstock Park, Mich., on Nov. 2. The final donation will be delivered in Jackson, Mich., on Dec. 19.

In all, Aunt Millie's will donate 64,212 loaves of bread, with the retail value of the donation valued at $140,624. Since the program was started in 2009, Aunt Millie's has donated 245,385 loaves, including the 2012 donations.

Aunt Millie's Bakeries is a family-owned company headquartered in Fort Wayne since 1901.
