Last Friday, Concordia Lutheran High School students observed their semiannual Service Day by going to work sites in the community to volunteer time cleaning, raking leaves, serving meals, sorting donations and other tasks.

Students met for an assembly at school at 8 a.m., and afterward traveled in their groups to their work sites, which included the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, Science Central, Lutheran Children's Hospital, Lutheran Life Villages, Amistad Cristiana Center, Love In Deed Food Pantry, Camp Lutherhaven and Woodburn Christian Children's Home. Students worked at their sites from about 9:15 a.m. to noon.
