I would like to respond to the letter written by the Rosses who say they are voting for President Obama because they believe he will ensure their son will get cheaper, better Medicare/Medicaid benefits. I wonder if they’ve seen how Obama has already cut $716 billion from Medicare. I wonder if they listened when both Romney and Ryan talked about Medicare and how they want to preserve it.

I’ve worked in health care for over 30 years and … over and over I would see wasteful spending because of Medicaid rules and also people abusing the program.

The government programs have needed an overhaul for years, and that is what Romney and Ryan are saying. This funding should be there to take care of the elderly and the disabled. The wasteful spending needs to stop. President Obama has done little but criticize the “rich.”
