Fitness centers are for all. The heavyset (politely said) bald individual, singing and talking out loud during a recent workout should be informed that he needs to be considerate of all others.
While waiting in line for coffee, a 40s-something suit, driving a Mercedes, stepped into the line ahead of us. Your status or presumed one does not entitle you to think you are better than others waiting. Fortunately, my wife moved in front of you and, with your lack of patience, you left.
Congratulations to pollster Nate Silver, who was the target of anti-statistics and anti-gay derision of Republicans, such as Joe Scarborough, Jonah Goldberg and Rush Limbaugh, for proving them all wrong by correctly predicting the presidential election results for all 50 states (including a virtual tie in Florida).

The smoke engulfed the parking lot and left my car and clothes smelling terrible. Add in the very poor lighting in the voting machine area, and maybe it's time to consider moving the polling location.
As I sat at the intersection of Crescent Avenue/Coliseum Boulevard, I watched a car blow through the red light. What surprised me was the police car in front of me did nothing! Hey officer, did you have a blindfold on! Police officers need to get serious about ticketing red-light runners, as well as texting and driving.
