Author Janie Ebinger of Garrett will sign copies of her book “Live Well, Eat Well” 1-3 p.m. today at Summer Stories, 201 S. Main St. in Kendallville. In the book, Ebinger focuses on buffet salads for large and small parties, and recipes for sandwiches and wraps for from two people to a group. She also promotes use of fresh and organic ingredients when possible.
The adult book group meets at 2 p.m. Nov. 28 at Aboite branch library, 5630 Coventry Lane. “Team of Rivals” by Doris Kearns Goodwin is this month's book.
Rockport Publishers recently released “Design: Type,” a publication by author Paul Burgess, creative director of Burge Advertising in the United Kingdom, featuring a collection of over 600 designs and essays circling the subject of typography. One Lucky Guitar (OLG) is noted among the book's 270-plus pages for the boutique's poster series for a tour by Libertyville, Illinois-based, rock band The Ike Reilly Assassination.
The “Classics” adult book group meets at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at Dupont branch library, 536 E. Dupont Road. “The Grapes of Wrath” by John Steinbeck is this month's book.
Guys, ages 6-12, can discuss what they're reading at 4 p.m. Monday at Tecumseh branch library, 1411 E. State Blvd.
Girls, ages 6-12, can discuss what they're reading at 4 p.m. Nov. 26 at Tecumseh branch library, 1411 E. State Blvd.
Kids discuss what they read and enjoy a root beer float, too, at 4 p.m. Nov. 28 at Pontiac branch library, 2215 S. Hanna St.

A book club for adults who enjoy British humor meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at New Haven branch library, 648 Green St., New Haven. This month's book is “The Toyminator” by Robert Rankin.
