Credit union wraps gifts to aid cancer fight

MORE ARTICLES

FORT WAYNE – General Credit Union is wrapping gifts and raising money for a young family whose mom is fighting breast cancer.

The credit union at 5020 Riviera Court announced this week that it will wrap the gifts free while visitors “enjoy free wi-fi, a coffee bar, and a cozy atmosphere.”

Any donations received will benefit the family of Allison Stier, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is going through “aggressive chemotherapy.”

The wrapping sessions are 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Dec. 18, the announcement said.

For more information, the credit union has set up a page about the fund-raising effort:
