4 injured in Williams County crash

A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 20 in Williams County, Ohio, injured four people Wednesday.

According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 2:47 p.m. Justin Rice, 18, of LaGrange, was driving a Mercury Topaz north on County Road 1.50. He drove out from a stop sign at U.S. 20 and into the path of a Dodge Journey driven by Walter Harvey, 47, of Clinton, Mich., the report said. Both vehicles drove off the north side of U.S. 20 before stopping.

Rice and two juvenile passengers were transported by Lifeline helicopter to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. One passenger in the other vehicle was transported to Cameron Memorial Hospital in Angola.

All drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, according to the report.
