Steuben County sheriff's deputies made a traffic stop early Sunday that led them to discover a meth lab at a home on Crooked Lake, according to the sheriff's department.

Just before 2 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Tabitha Ambler, and they arrested her and her passenger, 28-year-old Garrett Ambler, on drug charges.

An investigation took deputies to the Crooked Lake home in Pleasant Township where the lab and items associated with making meth were found, the sheriff's department said.

Tabitha Ambler was charged with felony meth possession and three misdemeanors: marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Garrett Ambler was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and three felonies: manufacturing meth, marijuana possession and meth possession.

The two from Angola were booked into the Steuben County Jail. Her bail was $10,505, and his was $62,505.
