Basketball legend Michael Jordan was kicked out of La Gorce Country Club in Miami when he refused to change out of cargo shorts on the 12th hole. Club officials asked him never to return.
Look at the club's side of it. If they let Jordan wear cargo shorts on the course, they'd have to let every greatest player in the history of basketball wear them on the course.
Rules are rules, and if Jordan's not willing to wear ugly plaid pants like all the other old rich guys, he can take his millions elsewhere.
Speaking of golf, a spectator heckled Keegan Bradley as a “cheater” for using a belly putter. I'm pretty sure that's what they used to call Charles Barkley before he joined Weight Watchers – a belly putter.
