Walker Russell Jr. and Ron Howard combined for 56 points, but it wasn't enough as the Mad Ants lost again on the road.

Maine, led by former Butler University standout Shelvin Mack, beat the Ants 116-113 on Saturday night in the Portland Expo Center in Portland, Maine. The loss dropped the Ants record to 2-5.

Mack scored 26 points with eight assists as Maine improved to 4-2.

Fort Wayne returns to action to play at Canton on Wednesday before back-to-back home games next weekend.

Russell led the Ants with 29 points and Howard added 27 at Maine. Tony Mitchell added 18 points and 11 rebounds and Sadiel Rojas scored 18 points with eight rebounds.
