Benghazi: Can the commander in chief be tried for cowardice under fire? Would the commander in chief get slapped and be called a yellow belly by Gen. Patton?

OK, now (U.S.) Senate Republicans have prevented the passage of a U.N. treaty for the rights of disabled people. If this is what it means to be a “compassionate conservative,” I am prouder than ever to be a liberal!

One local radio news anchor sure does butcher any attempt at intelligent discussion.

If the government doesn't agree, members should not get paid until they do. … When these people start living like the rest of us, our country will shape up lickety split.

Why are … (a local TV station group's news anchor and chief meteorologist the) news anchor and chief meteorologist for Detroit TV station Local 20 News? If this doesn't make everyone question the ownership of … (the local station group), I don't know what will. How can I trust anything they say since they are posers in Detroit?

I wonder why alcohol was spared from the cultural inquisition known as the drug war?

Anybody who feels the University of Saint Francis does not have the best football coach possible simply doesn't know anything about … well, anything. Career leader in wins in the NAIA (263), 16-time Coach of the Year, USF is Indiana's winningest college football program in last 15 years, three national title game appearances with USF (2004-06) and 166 consecutive top-25 rankings.

I need to get me one of those cushy congressional jobs. Work about 100 days a year. Get all the perks. Free health care, lifetime pension even if I only serve one term. Limo rides, free meals, a staff of 100 to do the real work. I just need to find me some rich friends.

Purdue fans have such a “little brother” complex.

Quit picking on Mr. Mourdock, a man of principles and convictions.

My guess is that most, if not all, of the recent childish IU vs. PU rants are coming from people who did not graduate from either of these fine universities, but think of themselves as “fans.” I would hope that a graduate from either would be more mature and classy.
