4 held in burglary at Syracuse home

MORE ARTICLES

Four people were arrested Wednesday, accused of breaking into a Syracuse home belonging to the parents of one of the accused last week.

Samantha Jo Rash, 18, of Cromwell, and Stephen Dennis Possell, 18, of Syracuse, were each charged with burglary and theft. They were each being held in the Kosciusko County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Two male juveniles were also arrested.

The four entered a home in the Fox Run Addition in Syracuse on Dec. 14, the sheriff’s department said, and stole items including an Apple iPad, iPod, television and Blu-ray recorder. Possell then pawned the items in Fort Wayne and was recorded on a video camera at a store, the sheriff’s department said.

Both Possell and Rash provided information implicating their involvement. The burglary was at a home belonging to the parents of one of the people arrested, police said.
