The follow-up game for the new-look Mad Ants turned out even better.

Double-double performances by veteran Ron Howard, newly acquired Luke Harangody and Indiana Pacers rookie Miles Plumlee led the Mad Ants to a 107-83 win over Erie on Saturday in Tulio Arena, Erie, Pa.

Howard scored 26 points with 11 assists, Harangody scored 22 points with 12 rebounds and Plumlee scored 16 points with 15 rebounds as the Ants won for the second consecutive night and improved to 5-10.

Tony Mitchell also scored 26 points and the Ants used a 37-18 advantage in the third quarter to take control. Harangody, the former Notre Dame standout acquired in a trade for JaJuan Johnson on Friday, turned in his second double-double in two games with the Ants.

Plumlee joined the Ants on Saturday while Orlando Johnson, another Pacer, returned to the NBA team.

Henry Sims led Erie (7-5) with 22 points.

The Mad Ants return to action against Santa Cruz at 7 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Coliseum.
