HUNTINGTON — A large fire has forced 11 families from their homes at an apartment complex in Huntington.
WPTA and WANE report the fire broke out about 9:30 a.m. Monday and quickly spread to 12 apartment units. WANE reports the property manager alerted residents to the fire and got everyone out safely.
Crews were still battling the blaze at mid-day.
WPTA reports that the fire set off ammunition and complicated efforts to extinguish the blaze.
