Water-main breaks disrupt traffic flow

Cook Road will be reduced to one lane east of Lima Road at the entrance to the Airport North Office Complex so city workers can repair a leaking water main.

The lane restriction is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Two-way traffic will be maintained with the use of flagmen.

Fort Wayne city officials suggested Friday morning that drivers might want to avoid the intersection of Washington Center Road and Dartmouth Drive, where a water-main break created icy road conditions. City crews were working to repair the break Friday morning, but they expected that work to continue into the afternoon.
