Mother-daughter 'Biggest Loser' show participants to speak at Tapestry

Marci Crozier and her daughter, Courtney, who were among the Season 11 contestants on the NBC reality TV series "The Biggest Loser," will be the morning speakers at Tapestry: A Day for You on April 26 at Memorial Coliseum.

Academy Award-winning actress Sissy Spacek is the luncheon keynote speaker for the event.

The Croziers will talk about “The Journey,” their change to a healthier weight and lifestyle.

Marci once weighed nearly 240 pounds, and Courtney reached more than 430 pounds, a Tapestry news release said. At the end of their "Biggest Loser" experience in May 2011, Courtney had lost more than 220 pounds and Marci was the first woman in show history to reach her goal weight while still at the Biggest Loser Ranch.

Registration for Tapestry: A Day for You begins Feb. 22. Tickets are $65 per person for open seating or $700 for a reserved table of 10. Tickets include breakfast, two breakout sessions, the noon luncheon, presentation of the Parkview/Tapestry Scholarships, and Spacek's keynote address, as well as shopping in the many booths lining the perimeter of the Coliseum Expo Center.
