Officers were searching the home of Nick P. Comment, 23, in Monroe on Thursday for the Eastern box turtles when they made the discovery, according to a statement from conservation officers.

Comment was taken to the Adams County Jail and charged with illegal possession of box turtles, illegal sale of wildlife, growing and cultivating marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and driving while suspended with a prior conviction, according to the statement.
