As part of an undercover sting, a police informant bought drugs, including marijuana and prescription painkillers, from Johnson on Nov. 26, Dec. 3 and Jan. 16, according to court documents.
On Jan. 29, police searched Johnson’s home and found 21.4 grams of marijuana, less than a gram of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and numerous bottles of pills not prescribed to him. The bottles held a total of 422 pills, including a variety of prescription painkillers, anti-anxiety medication and antidepressants, court papers said.
Johnson, who had $1,182 in cash on him when he was arrested, told police that “random people” give him prescription pills in exchange for marijuana and money and that he sells the pills to “only a few random people,” according to court documents.
Johnson, of the 3400 block of Collegiate Court, was being held Monday at the Allen County Jail in lieu of $217,500 bail.
